“ I am considering going to London for a reunion…any chance you could put me up the night before? „
I just got this text message and I have no idea who it is from. I was tempted to say, ‘sure, come along!’ just the amusement of being surprised by who turns up…but decided to go for the more conservative, more awkward approach of confessing that I just don’t have their number in my phone.
